Sail away, sail away, sail away

We're February 7th and it seems like a very late date at which to write a "new year" blog post but there you have it. Sometimes, plans get a little derailed and you need a little more time than anticipated to get ready. Now I'm all geared up and on a path to making 2020 a year to remember.

2019 was a year of great transition, both personally and professionally, making it my most challenging year yet. I am very happy about powering through it, battling through the doubts, the moments of low energy, the hectic months and the victories (because yes, there were victories, and I loved them).

I approach 2020 with a passionate mindset. I feel like I have a lot to prove to myself but I am full of ideas to turn to realities, dreams to pursue, projects I have decided would come out of that sock drawer in my head. I am finally ready to embrace the intention I set for myself this year: to be FEARLESS.

So this week I finish writing out my vision and destination for the year, and then it'll be all about staying steadily on course, adapting coolly to the ebb and flow of the waves, enjoying a stop on the beach whenever needed and having fun. Let's sail through 2020!

“Have regular hours for work and play; make each day both useful and pleasant, and prove that you understand the worth of time by employing it well. Then youth will bring few regrets, and life will become a beautiful success.” ― Louisa May Alcott, Little Women

And because I promised music and fun when I started writing this blog, here’s 20-ish minutes of music to kick off the year right.
