Etsedera is a one-woman band. I’m Sedera Ranaivoarinosy and I am a writer based in Paris.
I began writing as a child and decided to make it the guiding light of my career path when I got my first by-lines in the high school newspaper. Since then, I’ve stuck to that goal: I went to journalism school in New York City and have since honed my editorial skills as a communications project manager and now a freelance facilitator, writer and translator.
I’ve been working in the philanthropy and social economy sectors since 2013, developing corporate volunteering and pro bono programs as well as advocating for the growth of social businesses. It has allowed me to take part in many memorable projects where I got to see hundreds of my fellow colleagues take their first steps into volunteer work, write columns about innovators bringing impactful solutions to our world challenges and organize conferences on subjects going from elderly care to social impact measurement!
When I am not finding ways to contribute to social impact projects, I am often dancing, baking bread or giving a hand to non-profits defending the women’s rights. Phew.
It is this passion and energy that I want to bring to your project!
